I've checked three times. baudib got to three with #598, jkds later.

baudib has been lynched. Flip incoming.

And so the villagers slept. When they awoke, they met at the green to discuss the previous night's events. They theorised on what caused the blood red moon.

"It is the blood of Beelzebub", said one.

"Nonsense. It was no more than Lunar wildfires of the type seen in California", said another.

"Actually, it's where the wolves come from, and it was a display of their anger", mused the ginger one.

JKDS piped up. "Hahaha! Ridiculous! It was the moon passing into the Earth's shadow. It appeared red because despite no sunlight hitting it directly, light is refracted through the Earth's atmosphere. Since the atmosphere refracts green and violet light more than red light, the light that does reach the moon is predominantly red."

And a ghostly silence filled the air.

Suddenly, someone shouted "WITCHCRAFT!!!", and put a bullet between JKDS's eyes.

JKDS instantly evaporated into a mysterious red mist.
