    Default Small pocket pair opinion

How does everyone feel about small pocket pairs. It seems like your options are limited with this. Straights and flushes are a longshot. One might even say that you have a better chance of getting a good hand with a low suited connector.

I consider a small pocket pair 66 or below.

My personal rule is to pay as much as 3X the blinds to see the flop. Then, if I don't flop a set, I consider folding.

I get really nervous with overcards staring me down.

I know this is really tight, that's why I'm curious of your opinions.

    Thanks
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

First off everything depends on what has already happened at the table has it been raised to you are you first to act are you on the button? No hand is automatic except for pocket AA's and (KK's most of the time.)

Lets assume a hypothetical example (you are two from the button and it has been folded to you.) this is probably ideal for a hand like this, my move would be to raise probably 4x the BB because you want to capture position you want the two players next to you to fold and either the SB or BB to call if they all fold find you stole the blinds. If the SB or BB call you in good shape because you are going to see what they do before you act. This game is all about playing tight being aggessive and table position. But its alot easier if you flop a set.
