fnord playing pot limit? is that new?

nice play on both. you read mrs tilt perfectly.

a couple of "what if" questions:

    round 1

    - you raised on 66 to steal the blinds: what would you have done if mrs tilt reraised you another $2?

    round 2

    - what was the intent of raising weaktight pre flop? i'm usually leary of the weaktights, especially if the show any strength. and the above question again - your response if he would have reraised your pre-flop raise.

thanks for scenarios - it's helpful to my play.

Where the fish go, I follow.

Not really. I put her on an 8 or Jack on the first hand. On the second hand after cold calling both pre-flop raises I thought she might have AA, KK or AK.

For only $2, call for the set. More than that, fold.

Information, to tell MrsTilt to get lost and perhaps to set up a flop bet by representing AA/KK from the start. If WeakTight goes over the top I'm mucking, if MrsTilt goes over the top and WeakTight folds I got a decision to make. Both calls gave me reason to be concerned, so I checked the flop and the resulting action made for a very easy laydown. I think MrsTilt saved me at least a flop bet, perhaps even from doubling up WeakTight. I guess you don't need to win a pot or even get favorable pot odds for a poor player to give you value.

I found it amuzing that after I busted her out with 66 against QQ, the hands were reversed a couple hands later. Too bad KK was around to take her money, I like busting people twice in a row.

What about if you were in WeakTight's shoes after the flop. Would you go all-in, discounting the possibility of a set or AQh? Guess it depends on your read of the player, and MrsTilt says it all

I would have avoided that mess in the first place by going over the top pre-flop. 20x the BB is nice take for KK if they fold, it saves me the anguish of a flopped Ace, I'm probably paying off AA anyway and if they call with anything else it's even more value.
