    Default gonna start to cry

decided to play some 30 +3 toruneys now graduating from 10+1

i am 3rd in chips just barely with around 1000,
i get KK in big blind
small blind raises me i reraise him all in he goes all in i have him covered by about 50 chips, he shows AK unsuited,

ace falls on the river to basically knock me out on 4th

    next tourney
same situation down to 4 players i am one of smaller stacks, i am in small blind and get JJ i go all in to steal blinds and get called with ace 4, once again an ace falls this time on the river

    last 30+3 tourney
i get AK spades, i raise preflop 3 people see flop, flop is A 9 2, he raises i reraise all in, he calls with ace 6, of course a 6 falls on the river, and i am out 100$ i am gonna cry!

This is the reason why you need a big enough bankroll to handle the swings, you can play great poker and still get unlucky. The global recommendations are 20 buy ins.

So build your BR up to $600 and go nuts!. Not everyone agrees with this, some people say if you are a good player and you want to take a shot have 10 buy ins.

I play $20s but its looking likely for me to drop down to the $5s as I have been hit with the "cashout curse" and my BR isn't big enough to handle the swings.
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .
    Barney's back . . . back again . . .
