I hate that shit....

It's funny you posted this because I was going to post something similar. I was beat twice tonight when someone limped in with AA. One time it was the BB that limped with rockets in a 4 way pot?!? Of course both times I get TP, once with an A kicker and the other with K. It happended yesterday too with someone limping in with KK. I got burned all 3 hands because I just didn't expect it.

I can understand limping in with AA late in a tourney when the blinds are large in hope of trapping someone or POSSIBLY UTG hoping for a call-raise. But to do it early in a tourney or in a regular ring game in late position or on the button is rediculous in a multi-way pot. Well maybe it isn't so rediculous because I was taken three times, but regardless I don't thin it's smart poker. It may work from time to time but in the long run I think the risk outweighs the possible rewards.

It happening 3 times in 24 hours definatelty messed with my head though. I mean how can you put someone that limps in on AA or KK? I even left one of the tables because this person's betting was so erratic I simply could not put them on a hand. He was one of the best players I have encountered online or he was drunk, but either way he was sitting on 3x the buy-in within 20 minutes of sitting down.

I guess when 60,000 people are playing on Party these days you're bound to encounter some strange ones.

Well no one raised pre flop if I'm reading that correctly, so you never know what you'll be up against in an unraised pot. I'd fire at least a 3x BB bet, and if i get re-raised I know I'm probably behind going into the flop. From there you hit almost the ideal situation (you would prefer either all hearts or rainbow). The bet on the turn I believe was good, You have TP TK with a nut flush draw, and if he happens to be on a diamond draw it will cost him a lot of chips. Not much you can do there except raise pre flop, you can't help it if you get busted by someone limping by KK.

What was FireAunt doing calling that all in with all those draws and a 10 kicker, wow.
