    Default me = dumbass

    played in an SnG today...
    first hand dealth AKs, i was the BB. the button bets 400, i raise him all in. he flips over KK....i lost

    well i can feel myself starting to tilt...so i'll take a break for the next few days.

    Its easy to say "i'm taking a break" the hard part is actually STICKING TO IT!

    My question to you is why the reraise? the guy bets 400 preflop obviously he has a good hand, you also do... its down to heads up (i'm assuming considering his bet). Atleast by calling you leave yourself a way to win a pot, and also avoid a flip...

    Tough call though in the situation I'd like to think 80% of the time i'd call 20% i'd push, probably in reality closer to 60 40 enjoy your break and relax

    i read a guide (winningonlinepoker.com) saying that hands like JJ, QQ, AK should be treated like the plague early on...and it couldn't be more true...the only hand that would make such a raise the first hand would be KK or AA...there's absolutely no reason to steal blinds like that on the first hand, even if they were on the button.
