Special Strategies for SnG?

Are there any special tactics you guys use to win in SnG? Moneymaker wrote that you should play extremely tight in the beginning when everyone is loose, and extremely loose in the end when everyone is extremely tight. Is this the good strategy?

Yes and no.

I bet that Moneymaker was talking about MTTs. But this is good for SnGs also.

it doesn't really matter if you start out loose or tight. what matters most is how you play when you're down to 5-7 players, and more importantly how you play in the bubble.

i find it really doesn't matter if you're tight or loose at the beginning. playing loose is like a roller coaster ride, you won't win much, and you'll lose a little. so it's a waste of your time and effort. most of the time you'll have just as much as folding the entire time. it does have the added advantage of building a big stack early on if you catch a run of good cards and bad players.
