Was it too risky to push with 10s in this position? jj is loose passive.
My bet of 500 was... silly. 5xBB good, buy 1/2 stack, bad. As soon as I bet it, I knew he was going to push me all-in (good move, with AKs!) Won the crap shoot, luckily.

Again, Smooth call seemed not great, but I was too early to PFR on the raise, I folded because I was so out of position, and figured to be dominated. When the short stack when all-in I was sure some greedy bastard would call him, and I didn't like KQ multi-way in a raised pot, even suited.

Again, out of position, somewhat short stacked. I probably should have called, I could have bailed on that flop, but I was worried that the original caller would put me all-in

    himself fucker.
Alright hand 1 is fine, pushing in that spot is a gamble but so is poker. You can't fold tens when you're getting to be a shorter stack. The next hand: if you're going to limp, you are going to raise and since you weren't going to raise, you shouldn't limp just fold and chalk it up to bad position and not that strong of a hand (especially if you get played back at).

The third hand, you're playing AQs too weak. If you raise to 450 or 600, anyone planning on making it 900 to go now has to either call your raise or push all in (or fold). You can fold to the allin if you've got a read and think you can find a better spot with your stack. Flat calling would be a small mistake becuase he would be the agressor and a follow through bet will get you to fold, so 2/3 of the time when you miss a pair you're letting go of the hand -900 chips. So you're decision to fold instead of call was acceptable given the circumstances. An interesting note: he made it 900 to go preflop then bet 450 on the flop. This play seems to be a forced sign of weakness meaning he flopped something wicked and wanted to get someone to try raise him off.

Ah, I was missing a CRITICAL piece of strategy - you can only be raised (minimum) what you have raised. I guess I knew that, but knowing it and applying it are different things.
