Hi, I've been reading a lot of these threads and I think there is a lot of good opinions, so I'd like your opinion on my play on this hand. I had aboue 6000 chips when the blinds were 400/800 and i was right outside the bubble. So I come up with AKos in mid position with two people calling to my right and i decide to all in, and the person to directly to my right who has roughly 10000 chips calls me with pockets 66s and i get knocked out of the tournament. I ended up placing 121st when 120th was in the money. So my question is should i have played it differenly, more conservative? maybe just calling and folding on the flop or was my play correct, thanks for any replies in advance

I was actually in a similar position a few more out from the money (probably 10 or so) I won a decent sized pot and I could have Just sat on it, but I didn't play hard to beat 900 other people or so to come to squeak into the money and double my buy in, I came to win the dang thing. You should push that 100% of the time in that position IMO. Its tough though to turn on that aggressiveness, but you came to win not play 3-4 hours to double your buy in

Moral of the story I came in 34th of that tourney when my KQ lost to A10 However if I hit that pot I would have been prime for the FT. Sometimes you win them sometimes you don't .
