No... That guy wasn't playing very smart... I guess maybe you pot committed him or something. I don't know the solution, but I could see maybe playing more aggressive would have pushed him out.

    himself fucker.
you raise 600 then bet 400? I mean unless you felt like gambling with a strong hand, you should take it down. Can't help if someone wants to put it all in as a big dog.

Tough beat. He had a chip lead 4097 to 1635 and it appears that he was a gambler. Your only alternative was to push AI pre flop which would also make you the gambler and would be even more aggressive.

I like the preflop raise. The flop was scary with the 2 spades. I think the only thing you could have done better was push AI on the flop. You were not aggressive enough. After the 600 raise you were pretty much committed to the pot anyway and the flop hit you pretty good. what were you saving those last 600 chips for?

I have a feeling he would have called your AI the way he played it. In any case you were sunk. Unlucky, but I don't think it was overaggression but rather too little aggression on the flop.

Yeah, pretty much the bet on the flop is where your play went amiss. If you look at it there was like $1200 or so in the pot on the flop. You only had $1000 chips or so. I would've moved in cuz u were pot committed anyway.

Don't sweat it. Everyone makes mistakes. Poker's a game of minimizing them.
