    Default Dont you hate this?

Heads up in a SnG on Empire, I call on the button with Jc-3c. BB min raises it, and I call to see a flop. Flop comes 3s-5d-8d. I bet and he calls. Turn is a 7. I bet and he pushes. I think about it for a long time. He raised preflop, and I just figured he had big cards that he hasnt connected with. I am down to 1200 with the blinds at 300-600 so if I fold its a tough road anyway. I call, he shows Ad-Kd and hits his flush on the river.

Oh well I made a good read and just got unlucky.

I would have slowed down on the flop after he called the bet I also wouldn't have min-bet the flop.

I also would have raised PF, which he probably would have put me all in with and then dependant on stack sizees i'd call or fold.

I think you played the whole hand badly sorry

I agree with Toasty, HU is a completly different game, Playing passively and weak will net you a lot of lose's. If you decide to play this hand Its a raise, if you decide to continue playign the hand its a large bet on the flop, Min raiseing gets 0 respect.

My 2 cents, i push on the flop with bottom pair and rag board. Blinds were huge you had to win the hand. If you run into an overpair or A8 that is just the breaks, but you still arent drawing dead.

Stop farting around heads up and put them to the test if you need the chips. You had the right read and still lost possibly because your weak play.

    Good luck and great poker
