In the early stages of a tourney, if the pot isn't big (less than or equal to 100 chips) I would overbet the pot, many will still call, for example: |

It also depends on the table and the players. At lower stakes, some/many players do not figure pot or implied odds and chase draws on a feel. Sometimes I will have to bet 1.5X the pot to scare off draws. |

Personaly I like to bet the pot in the flop and on the trn if i know someone is chasing a flush/straight, if they do hit I like to make a small feeler bet just to gain some information, if they come over the top I will usually fold | |
