    Default KTo???

Early in tourny, do you think it is a good call to limp in the SB with KTo to 5 limpers?

Absolutely. I'd also call a minraise in the BB and limp in late positions with previous limpers as well. Just can't be that confident in your hand at all if its a Kxx flop. Then I'd just throw out a decent bet and fold to any raise.

A ten high flop would mean you probably have the best hand, but you gotta be aware of the first limper (and maybe the 2nd as well) possibly slowplaying a big pair, anyone hitting a set, and AT.

general rule of thumb for me, is i like to play hands that have good potential if i can get in for cheap (connectors suited cards etc), then you want to look to make monsters with them, or pick up pots when you smell weakness. if you miss they are easy to get away from too.

In the new Harrington book, he makes the point that when you stop and look at pot odds, alot of times it will surprise you how easy it is to make calls like this. With 5 limpers, the bb and your small, that's 13-1 that your getting. That's pretty much automatic no matter what you have.

Cool, that's exactly how I play the SB. With KTo I wouldn't even think about it, because I'd gladly complete with 85o as well. With tons of limpers I'll complete with basically anything. I'm really tight calling any raises at all though, even minraises.

how do you feel about small raises with PP suited connectors etc.? just to hook people if u catch on the flop?

Yeah, that's fine. Its not that hard to play a set in any position (although often a lot more profitable in position). Its more a hand like JTs or Axs or AT, etc. that I wouldn't call any raise with in the SB, where I would likely call one that's not too big on the button.

I think it depends a lot on the table. If you are at a table where you've only seen solid hands show down, and there are only one or two limpers, I'd probably fold it in the small blind. Otherwise if you are playing with a ton of loose limpers, definitely give it a go.
