Picking the right table

What do you guys look far as far as picking a table you hope to do well on!? I know it has been said "Look for a table where a lot of people are having fun and not much preflop raising is happening". Is this true?? If so why?

Greetings, nonlinear. You didn't specify online or real, but in any case, this discussion is specifically for online poker, but the basic concepts apply to brick-and-mortar poker rooms as well. It's just that you rarely have the luxury of being this selective in a real poker room.
