choose a poker topic and i will write something about it. Hopefully some good players who turn up in the BC will point out where i've got things wrong. Win-win.

this is actually really, really effective vs most of 50-100nl regs.

It appears that I've got some stuff to write. I'm not going to make promises on how soon this will all turn up - sometime this month though, and hopefully earlier rather than later. I think I will do the shorter ones first. Some of these I'm only going to write a few lines on, some will be a lot longer. The last two are going to be the most thorough, doesn't mean that they will be longest though.

Please note in advance that I'm nothing special on the poker front. I can beat stakes 2nl-25nl pretty solidly. I'm running ok the last month by playing pretty simple poker. Lifetime I've done a lot of small winrate/breakeven grinding of smallstakes and a significant portion of my poker income has come from bonus/rakeback type of stuff. But, I think I have a lot to gain from thinking more deeply on some superficially simple (and not so simple) topics, and I'm hoping that some of the comments on what I write will help me improve. Hell, maybe some of what I write will even be of use to people reading it...

3-betting is a huge topic and a lot has been written on it already. But I'll add some very simple thoughts to the mix. And some links.

this will be short but hopefully useful.

I don't play a lot of HU except when starting tables, and this is almost exclusively 100bb+ effective vs regs or random effective stacks vs unknowns. I'll give it a go, but keep your expectations low on this one - I haven't thought about this before, nor do I have much experience to draw on.

i'm pretty sure this is overbet shoving the turn, but I will check This is going to be the easiest to write. Not even close

I would like to see you write up something on bet sizing and why certain amounts are ideal and other times a lesser amount is required. A lot of your recent HH posts have sizing questions and I would like to hear what your have learnt.

Approaching a deep stacked game (250bb and more).

Since there are already so many questions I suggest you write a book and sell it for moniez.

These last two may serve more purpose than a strat article. I think a ton of strat has been covered in the BC digest and FTR threads post to cover uNL and SSNL for a while.

I'll still write something. I know what you mean though, I've just been reading through an old thread where a bunch of us talked about 3-betting.

probably better to ask deanglow or renton - see deanglow's latest post in the FR forum. Games up to and including 50nl are obviously crazy soft though. I hadn't played stars before FTP closed, so i have no point of reference. Dunno if it was this full of soft nits before?

this is more of a well question. This isn't a well. But, whatever. I typically mark hands during my sessions whenever i'm faced with an interesting decision or spot. These I always review later. That's most of what it consists of. Some of these hands I post here. Maybe 2%.

Sometime I take a look at all pots vpip= true and final pot size > 20bb, not often. Sometimes i look at all hands vpip=true, again not very often. I try and run some filters through hem and take a look at what's going on every 20k hands or so, if i'm running solid volume then more like every 50k hands.
