@kiwiMark I have this problem a lot too. One thing I tried last session was doing some poker "homework" (3-4 different hand situations) and really taking my time and talking out the range/moves I would play and make for a good 10-15 minutes. This got my brain in the thinking mode from the get go and as a result I played one of the best sessions I have in the last couple weeks. Also maybe a set music playlist (some easy to listen to electronica or something) for grinding could help.

1) when Im not running good my red-line starts getting out of control positive but I am usually playing below break-even poker. I dont mean to do this but subconciously I must start barrelling air way more. |

I dont realize things about poker that are stupidly obvious until this one moment in class where i should be thinking about how important spin orbit coupling is.

-Playing overly aggressive once my chip stack doubles or tripples.. I find myself trying to push much harder when I double or tripple up my buy-in. Then I will slowly dwindle down to my original buy-in at which time I start playing my normal tightness again and my stack will go back up. If I could lay off the aggressiveness when I was ahead I could probably make more in a sitting.

- I'm handling my tilting better now, to the point where I just log off or play rly tight for a few hands after a bad beat. However, I do have the very occasional tendency to chase a player after a bad beat, so this is certainly one. |

^lmao... I accidently joined a mixed tournament and it had Omaha in it and I had NO clue how to play it. I searched general rules on google real quick and ended up raking in more chips with the Omaha part then the Hold'em part, lol... I ended up cashing out in like 15th place cause of the pots I stole in Omaha.

Why is shot taking a leak? Do you mean in general or just for certain players?

This one is kind of used to be me. Seeing peers who had less knowledge of the game and basically did no work besides playing who were more successful then me was pretty tilting. Of course I never realized these peers were huge bum hunters who can't survive in post 2011 games. |
