Default Is Party Poker rigged? What's the fairest site? Sorry about

Hi everyone. I'm sorry for this question but when I try to do a search I get a million and a half responses.

I've been playing on party poker for months now and have seen some amazing, amazing things. Now, I know because online poker plays a lot of hands these things are to be expected but what I'm wondering is this.

Is it rigged any for people nailing unbelievable hands and than taking you out? I see posts like this http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...oker-52982.htm (last post), hear people talking and it makes me wonder.

Do more people complain about party poker than others? I have nothing to compare party poker too so I don't really know what's the best out there in terms of fairness.
Any if party poker isn't completely fair, than what is the fairest site out there?

    Thanks guys for any response.

No, Party Poker is not rigged.

Even entertaining the thought will do damage to your game. So you've got to let go off that crap.

As for evidence about Party, well people can datamine easily on Party, so you can see literally millions of hands if you want and check what's happening.

I'm guessing you're playing low- or micro-stakes poker; in which case I would say that Party has a very low quality of opponents.

Thich means that they will more frequently have crap hands than on many other sites, which means there are more chances for them to suck out on you, which means you will be sucked out on more often.

If you don't want to get bad beats against you, play against better players then they'll pwn you from pre-flop to river and you'll have no cause for complaint.
    Blah blah Op Blah blah

    Classic

Also, hands are dealt faster on-line. So if you went to a casino, you may see 30 hands/hr. On-line it's 60(?) for full-ring and 90+ for 6max. So you're already seeing 2-3x the number of hands. If you multi-table that could jump to 24x+. Over 10,000 hands you will see things that happen 0.1% of the time. This isn't because a site is rigged, it's because of probability.

A simple test, flip a coin 100 times and record the results. It's very probable you will flip heads (or tails) 6 times in a row (or more!!). There is only a 1.5% chance of this happening in 6 flips, however you will likely see it happen. Does that mean flipping a coin is rigged?

Deciding that a site is rigged is self indulgent and you will never improve if you indulge in it. Also how can you decide a site is rigged based on a one line jaded post?

I'll say what I always say at this point. IF a site were rigged - and they're not, but indulge me for a second - then it would be impossible for them to favour one player over another. Let's say they dealt more AA vs KK hands than should happen - makes sense as it would increase rake - for every time you got pwned by AA appearing when you had KK, you'd also find lots more people pushing their KK into your AA! Do you see?

But the key thing here is that it actually doesn't matter if the sites ARE rigged. The only complete information you can ever have at a poker table is probability, so the only information you can base your play on is the likelihood of each scenario happening. The moment you stop doing this is the moment you'll start making arbitrary, and utterly baseless decisions, usually on "instinct" (or, more likely, a persecution complex because so many bad beats happen to you). And this is when you'll start losing.

So, play proper poker, and be rewarded. Who would you rather play, someone who understands odds, or someone who pushed 74o pf into your aces because "Party always favours the underdog"?

I'm just wondering if it is or not. That's all.

not a single poker site i played at i think was rigged, if you get so worked up about bad beats then its your temperament you have to work on not the poker sites you play at.
I used to get real mad when my aces or top pair got cracked for the fifth time in a row but eventually youll just forget it and keep playing good(if you do play well). Its not the bad beats that make you lose money over time, its the tilting and making mistakes when you're steaming. If you concentrate and play well at all times you will see your br rise quickly. Playing tighter at those micro stakes postflop is a good way to play a winning game.

I don't think the sites are "rigged", BUT however despite what most of you are writing. I have seen SOOOOOO many bad beats online. Full Tilt should be badbeat.com, in a period of 30 Hands there was 8 full houses, 3 flushes, 4 straights, 2 three of a kinds, 5 two pairs, 2 top pair each with one person having better kicker. I saved it, had to show a good poker M8. I have played ALOT of poker, i'm talking 28 out of 30 days since age 16. You see more bad beats online, you see better hands. for some reason you do. I cant' explain it, even at the high limit tables. It is true if you play at small table limits "micro" usually 60% of people see the flop. You are basically playing straight up poker, in low low limits. Move up your limits, $10 all in bluff isn't going to hurt if you call them. A $10000 bluff you call them on, is going to turn their stomach. People will pay 25 cents to see the flop, $100 makes them think. There are bots on sites but it still doesnt' justify the quality hands you get online. I set in Bobby's Room last night for 6 good hours (only using the bathroom once) and only saw 2 full houses the whole night. I bet I can get on FullTilt and see 5 full houses in an Hour and 1/2. Anyone that wants to take that bet, I'm a betting man lol.

We don't entertain conspiracy theories here ("omg rigged"). This thread is completely useless.
