Default [10NL] AKo...TPTK against complete unknown.

3rd hand on villain. Complete unknown.

    PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
    Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

    UTG: $28.74
    MP: $10.39
    CO: $10.78
    Hero (BTN): $10.00
    SB: $3.65
    BB: $16.52

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has K A

fold, MP raises to $0.30, fold, Hero raises to $0.90, fold, fold, MP calls $0.60

    Flop: ($1.95, 2 players) K 7 5
MP checks, Hero bets $1.10, MP raises to $9.49 and is all-in, Hero ???

Apologies if this is a standard hand. I'm just not sure what to do here in this spot against an unknown.

Def standard, Easiest snap call ever. Stack his AJ/AQss.

I dunno why these hands get posted. Unless you're kind of asking what a realistic range for villain to do this with is, in which case you should be doing the maths in the post anyway.

    Yah +1 to this.

You're facing an all-in so you know your pot odds and you know what equity you need to make the call. So just stove some ranges and ppl can comment on if you're ranges are way too loose / too nitty.

Even if villain c/r to like $3.40 or something, if you assume the worst case scenario is that you have no fold equity and that he's always calling off, you can still treat this as though you're facing an all-in and calculate the equity.

Standard snap-off. Few nut flush draws and maybe sets, plus KQss.

AKo has 60% equity vs. { AsQs, AsJs, KsQs } but only 21% equity vs. { 77, 55, AsQs, AsJs, KsQs }. Do you think 77/55 is really uncommon to show up here?

I think it's pretty uncommon for villain to take this line with a set, even if they did set mine oop in the first place (which would generally be a mistake). This is pretty much the line a nut flush draw with an over takes in my experience to try and maximise fold equity.

If we did give them 2 combos of sets from 6 possible combos and we add in AK, we're just about okay to call it off. Any more sets and we've got a problem as you say, but I'd be happy discounting most. TPTK in a 3bpot is pretty much the nuts and we should be okay with getting it in. If he has it, we can take a valuable note and move on.

Part of the idea of 3-betting AK pre in the first place is to get it in on a board like this.
