Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8 8

fold, fold, BTN raises to 3 BB, fold, Hero raises to 9 BB, BTN raises to 23 BB, Hero calls 14 BB

ok, villain seems pretty nitty and able to find the fold button, and also a bit passive, saw him fold river when third flush card came , and he was raised, also saw him open AQo in CO, sb flatted , flop was Axx, sb, checked , he bet and sb called, turn and river were more or less bricks and he checked down AQ.

So, i decided to flat his 4b, and then c/bomb the flop. i think i got him to fold his overpairs, but also think maybe i went a little crazy....

    what you guys think?

Fold pre to the 4b, not close at all. We do not have setmining odds. I'd call this vs the raise instead of 3betting, no need to start pushing around someone who seems passive/nitty.

I think flop is a disasterous way to play your hand in a 4bet pot. You're getting him to fold his AK (which we want him to bet again with), or he jams his TT+ because no way is that folding on an 8xx rainbow flop in a 4bet pot at 2nl.

This hand is a big loser imo.

    Default yeah

I really thought basically the same thing. I took this hand to crazy land. Oop in a 4b pot vs. KK+,AK, that's really probably what his range is. Maybe QQ, but either way yeah definitely stupid.

I'll weigh in more after work

I stopped reading at "ok villain is pretty nitty"

I mean.. that's enough right there. Fold to the 4b pre, and really flatting this hand is fine in the BB (as opposed to 3b).
