Default 5nlz - TP on monotone flop & set vs river shove

    Villain is a complete unknown.

    Stacks:
    Hero (UTG) ($6.83) 137bb
    UTG+1 ($5.81) 116bb
    CO ($4.83) 97bb
    BTN ($5.64) 113bb
    SB ($5.02) 100bb
    BB ($5.46) 109bb

    Pre-Flop: ($0.07, 6 players) Hero is UTG
Hero raises to $0.15, 1 fold, CO calls $0.15, 2 folds, BB calls $0.10

    Flop: ($0.47, 3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.30, CO calls $0.30, BB folds

    Turn: ($1.07, 2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.30, Hero calls $0.30

    River: ($1.67, 2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $4.08, Hero folds

    Final Pot: $1.67

I think flop and turn are played ok, the small bet sizing on the turn seems very strange to me. I think the river should be a pretty standard bet/fold? But I'm unsure.

I think I played the rest of the hand ok, but always open to criticism. Flop sizing could be a little bigger?

i'd barrel the turn 1/2 pot to avoid giving the villain the chance to check behind with his flush draws and get value out of them .we won't get value once the flush draws brick the river. then probably block bet the river .70 and fold to raises to get value from worse queens. its trips on the river and not a set.

Way too fancy for my liking at 5nl dude and value cutting yourself. I'd B/f 40c/110c against a less than full stacked likely fish. I'm torn on the river between jamming and blocking but I'd expect the blocker to be better as we can't discount boats and pretty much most flush combos, plus I doubt this guy bluff jams over an obvious blocker. Timing tells are pretty damn important on this run out as well.

As played, folding river is probably fine but marginal. We need to model quite a wide range for villain on the river that includes a ton of suited and off suit qx and a ton of flushes.

Bet the flop bigger. This is a spot where weak opponents are going to be very inelastic with FD's, and will probably hold onto weak TP too much as well. And if he ever has weak TP with a FD, we need to be blasting it anyway. So bigger OTF imo. As played, don't like checking the turn. We almost guarantee putting ourself into weird spots, and there's still plenty of value to be had for the same reasoning as on the flop. I'd be betting 80-90c. As played OTT though, I think x-ing the river is okay (I like leading a bit better), but we can't x/f imo. The thing is, just because 3 Q's are out doesn't mean the other one got thrown out of the deck. A weak unknown villain at 5nl is going to overvalue trips (with any kicker) sooooo much on this board.

In fact his sizing indicates more a Qx hand than a flush imo. He goes tiny ott, then bombs the river, which in my experience is usually a fish telling the truth: he went from a marginal hand (by his own standard) to a monster (again, his own standards) - he improved. Once we check, folding seems bad to me. We will run into weirdly-sized QJ and flushes sometimes, but more often I'd expect to see KQ and QT with a FD.
