    Notes on Villain?

If this hand was against any other Villain at the table, I'd say, "I don't like your line on any street," but history with Villain after almost 350 hands can change my mind. As odd as your line is on this hand, though...

Why did you call PRE instead of 3-betting?

    Why did you c/c OTF?

    Why did you donk OTT?

Why did you call the raise OTT? (Really... What's Villain's range and what's your perceived range at this point in the hand?)

Why in the world are you re-donking the river after b/c OTT with TPTK when the river was the brickiest of bricks?

I have to wonder what you think you're repping.

(Your new-ish here and don't know me so let me say... Don't take the criticism as anything personal. I'm just trying to help, and being honest.)

Dont worry, you could be doing a million times worse, and I would still be happy to have an honest critique. My game needs help, and I cant afford to ignore good advice just because of pride.

    Anyways, onto your points.

called pre instead of 3bet because from posts here, Ive gotten the idea that I 3bet these sorts of hands when I really shouldnt be. Doesnt a 3b in position generally reek of a very strong range?

c/c otf because...I dont know. In retrospect, I cant figure out what I was thinking at the time.

donked ott because i wanted to seem like i had a bluffy gutshot or something.

called the raise because I figured opp thought i had a bluffy gutshot and was trying to value me out with qk/9t/9j/qj.

donked the river to seem bluffy, get called by those hands. called the raise because.....tptk?

You're in the SB... You are not in position.

    As to the 3-bet:
Well, you have 348 hands on Villain so you should have a good idea of whether Villain is positionally aware PRE, and you should have a solid idea of what his opening range is here. You should also have at least some idea of how he responds to 3-bets and have decided whether you're merging or polarizing your 3-bet range against him. Furthermore, you should have a pretty good idea of how he plays post flop.

OK, so looks like we've figured out what went wrong in this hand, huh?

c/call down. if villain is aggro hes gonna bet worse and bluff some too. yr donk calling thing is fishy, overthought and dumb.
as played turn is a fold. villain can has tonnes of better but isnt doing this with worse unless hes pure bluffing. his stats dont suggest a fish or a retard.
