BBvBTN, decent draw turns weak top pair

BTN is pretty loose and aggressive, verging on the maniac. Opens 50% of his buttons.

The only thing I would do differently is c/c OTT. If Villain is opening 50% of his buttons & is loose aggressive, then I'm going to let him hang himself and build this pot for me. A Villain like that would love this board because it gives him reasons to push. I can easily conceive a villain like this barreling 3 streets w/ a 10 or a 9.

I would c/f this river. I open 50% of buttons, and villains range has a TONN of flushes in it right now. Not to mention two pairs / straights that wouldn't have raised the turn due to flush coming.

I agree with c/f'ing river, but again I disagree with your sizing. I realise this is probably my problem. On flop I'm making it around x2.5, so $3.00-$3.25 seems about right. My reasoning for this is because the air in his range is folding ragardless how much we raise, while I don't expect an extra dollar or so to make him fold anything out that he calls for less. I don't want to make it so expensive to bluff.

Are you making it this big because you want it to look like you're setting up for stacks?

I'm making it big because that's the size I would use with TTT/999/T9/666/78 and all my draws. If you make it $3 villain is getting around 3.5:1. That's pretty good odds on this type of board, when we're OOP.

I don't hate $3, but with our value hands when we're OOP we might want to make it bigger because we will be facing a lot of bad runouts where we may be prone to making mistakes. ie: villain will be in profitable spots when we check, knowing we will often be c/f.

Sure if the board is K73 rainbow, I can see some merit to making it smaller, but not on this board.

Reviewing my other post: Yes I agree, $4.50 or so may be extreme, but I don't see anything wrong with $3.5-3.75 territory.
