Recently returned to poker after 2 years off. Starting out at 5nl, I'm pretty rusty. After 4k hands I was up 5.5BI, after another 4k I'm down 1BI. Am running a couple of BI -AIEV but obviously the main problem is that I Suck At Poker. Here's a few hands where I got lost / confused / did some dumb shit I need to be told not to do. Any input welcome:
Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A, A
UTG calls $0.05, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.20, 5 folds, UTG raises to $0.50, Hero raises to $1.25, UTG calls $0.75
Flop: ($2.57) 4, 5, K (2 players)
UTG bets $1.25, Hero raises to $3.97 (All-In), UTG calls $2.72
Turn: ($10.51) Q (2 players, 1 all-in)
River: ($10.51) 6 (2 players, 1 all-in)
Total pot: $10.51 | Rake: $0.44
Results below:
Spoiler:
UTG had K, K (three of a kind, Kings).
Hero had A, A (one pair, Aces).
Outcome: UTG won $10.07
Villain is unknown, but at this level the limp raise pre is generally AKs plus. Should obviously just ship it pre and secure the cooler but can I fold the flop?
Turn: ($1.02) A (2 players)
Hero bets $0.75, MP1 raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $4.50 (All-In), MP1 calls $3
River: ($10.02) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)
Total pot: $10.02 | Rake: $0.42
Results below:
Spoiler:
Hero had A, K (two pair, Aces and twos).
MP1 had 10, 10 (full house, tens over twos).
Outcome: MP1 won $9.60
Villain is 9/9 with 0% 3b over 22 hands.
Preflop I feel uncomfortable 3bing AKs OOP so just flat. Should I be 3bing here?
On the flop we have overs and the draw so am happy betting. I'm pretty sure my sizing sucks though. When he flats I'm thinking he maybe has overs that have missed, AT, maybe JJ?
When the A comes on the turn and he comes to life I'm thinking a lot of the time he has an Ace, but given we have 9 cards to the flush I'm happy about getting it in.
Pretty sure I played this wrong on just about every street, and I'd really love some help on this one because Iwas pretty lost at times.
Preflop: Hero is CO with J, K 4 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, Button raises to $0.25, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.10
Flop: ($0.57) K, K, 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.40, Button raises to $0.80, Hero raises to $2.45, Button raises to $4.10, Hero raises to $4.84 (All-In), Button calls $0.74
Turn: ($10.25) A (2 players, 1 all-in)
River: ($10.25) 5 (2 players, 1 all-in)
Total pot: $10.25 | Rake: $0.43
Results below:
Spoiler:
Button had K, Q (three of a kind, Kings).
Hero had J, K (three of a kind, Kings).
Outcome: Button won $9.82
Villain is 87/22 with 36% 3bet (45 hands) lunatic who'd been making some ridiculous plays and walking on water against the whole table for the past 30 mins. I'm pretty sure this is ok but after a 6+ downswing you start to question these things.
Button had 10, 8 (straight, Queen high).
Hero had 9, 9 (three of a kind, nines).
Outcome: Button won $9.60
Villain is 26/16 with 1% 3bet over 225 hands. This is absurd and embarrassing. I literally hate every fucking thing I did in this hand so please just rip into it and tell me how it should be done. Ugh, terrible.
Hero had 9, 9 (three of a kind, nines).
MP1 had 10, 10 (three of a kind, tens).
Outcome: MP1 won $9.59
Villain is unknown. Obviously I'm a fish for limping the button but not sure there's much else I can do on the flop and there's enough dumb 2pr/AT/JJ shit in his range that we're not folding?
That's it folks, let me have it.

Reason: Posted too soon, hands to follow
AA - i'd just shove over the .50 . by the time you raise to 25bb and likely cbet you are committed and 5nl'ers don't fold enough in these spots so just take advantage of it.
AKs , i 3bet flop to $1 and happy to stack off on the flop with two overs
KJ looks ok to me,
99 meh i probably donk the flop here and start the pot building and let them draw to whatever. Think your turn bet should be bigger ~1.25 ish
99 raise to isolate to .25 pre, raise flop bigger and i call it off.just a cooler
AKss - no point in donking here. I would just c/c flop/turn. AKs (A-high) is often good here, might as well keep his junk in.
KJo - would rather c/c or c/r flop here than donk. rest is standard. Can also b/c if you think he's liable to have a complete air ball.
99 hand. Seems fine, standard cooler.
99 hand part 2 - Isolate preflop to 0.25. As played on the flop, seems fine. I would raise harder when he overbets on such a draw heavy board. Another cooler.
