Default Lead flopped nut straight multiway or slowplay?

Table texture: No-one in the pot is a massive drooler, although the BB looks pretty loose. The original opener is nitty, everyone else is reggy.

    Reasons to lead:

    - Lots of turns kill my action
    - Worse hands can raise because the board is scary and they want the money in now.
    - Lots of draws can call at least one street but won't semibluff in a multiway pot so there's a risk it just gets checked around

    Reasons to check:

    - Leading turns my hand almost face up, I can't lead OOP into 4 people here without something nutted.
    - If I check and it gets bet further round, I trap in more of the field for another bet.

If I do check, and it gets bet, I'm split between raising and hoping someone shoves, or calling and hoping the turn/river brick off rather than killing my action.

If I do lead, how much?

    BTN: $24.13 (96.5 bb)
    Hero (SB): $27.38 (109.5 bb)
    BB: $25.35 (101.4 bb)
    UTG: $25 (100 bb)
    MP: $25.35 (101.4 bb)
    CO: $29.84 (119.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J Q
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.75, CO calls $0.75, BTN calls $0.75, Hero calls $0.65, BB calls $0.50

    Flop: ($3.75) K T A (5 players)

Lead $3 looks good. You rep strong, but lots of hands like AJ/AQ or two pairs/sets probably won't fold anyhow.

You could also lead for 1/2 pot just to prime the pump.

Not leading would be missing out big time on value.

I'd fold pre though and not even consider calling this hand multiway.

I would always call preflop looking to play it as a connector and not going crazy with one pair.

Anyone wanna elaborate why not calling multiway? I fold this hand _a lot_, this is one of the few spots I think it's a good call pre. I'm folding postflop almost always unless I make 2pr or better.

How often do you flop 2-pair+? And when you flop 2-pair, how often are you going to be good or get paid off (especially oop)?

Edit: sry, that sounds really arsey!

Not at all, don't mind you saying it.

IMO though multiway is when the rare times you flop really well are more likely to pay off, and we're already getting like 5:1 preflop.

I can still see being OOP as a reason to just fold pre though, but I don't think it's overwhelmingly a fold.

Yeah I am also folding pre for sure. You just don't make the good hands often enough ( and get paid ) when you do.
