WeakTight Equity Quiz

Results 1 to 10 of 10

    Default WeakTight Equity Quiz

May as well turn it into a competition to see who can do the best (inb4 spoon)

Choked 3 & 7, should have also known runner runner was <3% for 9.

Timing element is quite good because it forces you to learn how to do it quickly which is obviously essential for at the table, does result in some massive chokes as shown though.

Not got over 78k yet, but will hopefully improve. I really struggle with the spots where there is a good chance of a chop.

Yah that was the one I messed up the most.

I think you said that you had problem viewing certain card animations on FTR, do you have the same problem with thsi quiz. Sometimes I get questions like

    A3 vs 5

And I tried checking what that is A3s vs 5x and the answers were massively different.

No problems on FTR or the quiz for me Chief, which is amazing considering how old my laptop is and the fact it runs Vista.

Not that anyone will actually spend their time learning this, but if we are on the turn and we have "a" split outs and "b" winning outs the formula to work out our equity is

    (25/22) (2b + a)

    If we assume that 2b + a = x

Then we can work out our equity by assuming equity = x + d, where d is a constant that we add.

    (d is basically the rounding extra, as it's basically x * 1.14)

So it gives us the correct answer to 0dp.

For anyone that cares, here is the pattern that repeats, so we can actually see our equity.

Here's the secret to how I've held the #1 spot for both hold'em and Omaha for over four years.

Do the quiz once and write down all of the answers. Click on a link to another page, and then hit the back button. You'll get the same 10 hands when you do the quiz again.

    You're welcome.

    That's cheating though.

We have a new entrant at #4 on the HE leaderboard.

Before I saw Spoon's post obviously.
