Push or fold? 800/900 pot. About 1/2 your stack, its either push or fold. I opted to fold, the flush hit it happens.

I think one play in a sng Sngs, you may do an out of box decision. Chase a flush draw, bet into 2 players, something that isn't completely sng to give you a little edge. Yesterday I went up 50 dollars just doing 5 sngs playing wildbox182 style.

Heres a tough decision either Im probably 50/50 against a pair or ahead against KQ KJ. I opted to fold though.

Anyways here where I busted out my stack was 4<bb. This Sng was really odd, on the flush draw I usually never chase as I cant seem to hit them but that time it did come. Kinda shitty situation. Facing a 1/3 of your stack post flop on a flush draw, but I could've opted to push flop but folded when it hit. No idea what BB had

    Please don't think like this.

Now that I think about it, I have 9 outs to the flush, 3 to the straight, and if he has just the queen I have overs. Ive got about at least 12 solid outs. Given my stack size 1700 to win a 1700 dollar pot, im getting 2 to 1 on my money, he may even fold this.

With the gutshot I should have gambled.

    Good point

The reason why I tend to think that sets only come 4% of the time or my flushes burn up more chips when chasing them because I never see the River it seems, is because it convinces me a way to play even tighter poker and tighter poker means you cant loose chips.

Hand 1 with the tens I'm AI there everytime given stack sizes etc..
Hand 2 You have an inside Royal Flush draw. You have at least 13 outs. I'm AI there every time.
    Hand 3 A9 off..Marginal...folding isn't so bad here. Calling isn't horrible either.
Hand 4 Pushing here is the best play no doubt.

You need to stop treating every sit n go like it's some random unique adventure and begin looking at each sit n go as a path towards profitability and making the right play long term. Just because you didn't chase your flush draw this time and it DID come doesn't make your play good or bad.

Oh I know its more about making the right decision then being results orientented, play tight early on minimizing bluffing, playing low pps , suited connectors to limp then as blinds pick up start making moves.

But im not a fan of flush draws, but in this situation it was a clear push as I was getting over 2 to 1 it, didnt see it that way and I believe its 9 outs + 3 queens (you cant count the one 10 twice) so a total of 12 outs making me a 43% favorite to win the hand.

From now on when I pick up a gutshot flush draw or a flsuh draw and a middle pair Ill evaulte my outs more.

And even though when in the preflop better and an A or K hits, even though I love to rep them Ill try to make the best bet possible give my stack size or even check OOP.
