Default AKo vs. Big stack on bubble

I didn't know what to do here since he had me covered.

Villain had called off a lot of big bets with small pairs previously.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

This is very very read dependent. Any HUD stats on Villain?

    No I'm an HUD donk.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

Wow, without reads I don't know. I default to a push. I think you have loads of fold equity here.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

In a vacuum I would shove as well, but running it in SNG Wiz there are a LOT of ranges that make this a bad shove over. Assuming opp opens with 25%, opp actually has to call our shove pretty tight (like tighter than 7-8% or so) otherwise it becomes pretty solidly -EV.

would a flat call be out of the question here??

Is flatting horrible? We get great implied odds on A or K flops, we can easily fold to a bet on the flop if we miss while still having 50% more chips than the shorty, and we can possibly steal from a hand like 55 if it gets checked to us on a board like Q96.

Edit: I just noticed that I posted at the same time as AA. It looks like a few of us are on the same page here...

I flatted because I had position and didn't know what else to do -- folding is out of the question and raising seemed too hairy. I think I would shove this from the blinds all the time but wouldn't love it.

He has to be almost as scared of me as I was of him.

I think I would flat here as well in this situation. Actually,.. going over some of my sng HH's, I'm discovering that there have been many times where I'd have been better off to just flat or stop'ngo/shov the flop.
see you on the tables!! (as I'm pretty sure I will, hee hee.. DeepchapChopra on Fulltilt).
Incidentally, I've got you marked in my notes as a very good player (usually only 1 of 2 on any given table I'm on). Curious if you recognize my name on FT and how you perceive my play.
The turbo sngs are new for me just over this past month or so. Haven't returned to reg. ones now since I've gotten into them.
    see ya around & GL!
