Hey.... I ususally do pretty well in Sng's but quite often go on a bad run when building a stack playing out of my roll and stacking off... if I'm four tabling $3.50 sngs what should my bankroll be before I head to $6.50?

Don't think that the number of tables makes that much difference to your required bankroll provided that you can still make as good decisions when 4-tabling as you can when 1-tabling. |

40 or 50 seems to be conventional wisdom, it is definately a question of your comfort and whether it inhibits your play, and whether you can take swings, also it is dependent on your skill, more skillful players can have more humble bankrolls for the limits. Competent players with confidence and relaxed about money I'd say 40 ish or so |

If you're worried about running bad and need a bit of breathing space to feel comfortable playing your best game, then I would suggest going to the more conservative end of 40-50 buyins. If you have bad luck then don't panic, if you drop down to 35/40 BI then switch straight back into the 3.40s and give it a shot again when you're back up. |

I guess 50 is enough, but I'm a huge roll nit, so I would have like 100+ for any limit I'm at for tilt reasons. | |
