Just saw a vid that makes my wish i had the roll to play 1k

The vid as by some cat named filthy from cardrunners. I think he played under the name yugah. I know he is suppose to be good but the over all play did not seem so great. The 1st 2 3rds of the tourney was a boreing fold fest then it turn't into an all in fest

I Just thought there would be a little more trickery at such an elite level

Well, that's a bit generalized, but that's basicly winning strategy.
Play really tight first levels and then use proper ICM / push/fold poker in the later levels.
There is still some postflop poker and putting people on ranges and knowing when to push and call needs skill and experience.
It's not like it's random pushing poker (no profit to be made then).

Oh there was one player that according to poker prophet has which the autor was runing has a winning percentage of 38 who made a very strange play. He bluffed half his chips then folded when filthy raised all in. Is it ever correct to make that fold?
