    Default Multitableing

Othern then doing it (obviously), are there any good ways to practice multi-tabling. I do it on the 1$ 45 mam's on stars (2 at once) just for a laugh on ocations (or some quick buy ins heh). I usually play 6.50$ turbos (trying the 15+1's now) and want to eventually multi-table. Any good practice methods to try/major pitfalls to avoid? Thanks

the only real thing is to get a 1600 1200 monitor.

    add tables slowly.
I went from 1 to 2 to 4. Dont go fom 1-4, IM pretty sure u will get overwhelemed.

My max reso is 1024 vs. 768 on my laptop...multitabling gets really tough. You can only focus on one table at a time with an occassional look at another one going on behind the main table you are looking at.

What I've learned to try is take a peak all of your tables when you get a chance and take note of your cards and position so that when that table pops up you have an idea of what you want to do.

I'm pretty sure this is highly unrecommended, but I gotta do what I gotta do.

    2. knowing you should fold, but donkishly calling or raising anyway

When I started multitabling I did not run 2 Sngs. I played one Sng and one ring game. Then you can close the ring game anytime you feel you need to concentrate more on the Sng
After a while run 2 Sngs but do not start them at the same time, start them at about 20 min interval

ooo heres a tip to go from 2 to 4 tabling that i learned from rilla.

start up 2, when they both get to 25/50 start up another 2.
I did that for a while until i just natrually started to start up the next 2 sooner and sooner.

See my only problem is that I feel like I play really good poker when one-tabling but my game just goes to shit when doing more than one tournament at a time. I just don't see how you guys are confidentely making plays when you have to concentrate on all the extra players.

Like I said in an earlier post, I don't really have a problem quad tabling the limit RING game because for the most part you just make the same decisions over and over again without a whole lot of extra thought. Just allot of the same right decisions made over and over.

In the sng's I just think I need to spend more time watching players and knowing when to make my moves and what not. Because lets face it you don't have a great hand that often. If I start playing more tables then I guess I just sit back and play ONLY good hands, no bluffing etc...

This is why I've said before, I'd much rather just be REALLY good at playing poker and play the 1050's all day long. I think playing multiple tables is a different form of skill than just being good at poker. Being good at poker and being able to play 4 tables at the same time are two different things.

I dunno, you mac's tell me how you do it?
