    Default random question...

I got a question for you guys, It may sound confusing or stupid or irrelivant but this just happened to me about 5 minutes ago and I'm just wondering if you think it has any effect.

    preflop chip counts
    I have 21,000 chips
    1st caller has 10,000
    2nd caller has 6,000

I had KQhh 3 positions after the BB.
The blinds are 150/300 with a 25 ante
And im sitting pretty with 21,000 chips
i bump it up from 300 to 1000
I get 2 callers after me but before the blinds.
flop hits A 7 3 all clubs, i didnt like that at all
We all check and now the turn hits a King
i threw out a 1400 chip bet to see where everyone was at in the hand
the 1st caller calls and the 2nd caller folds
so now were heads up into the river
I'm putting him on either the Ace or a club draw
    the river hits a 2

Now the board reads Ac 7c 3c Kd 8d

Now im first to act here and im not sure what to do theres like 6500 in the pot or so and i want it. I really believe he called me with the ace and probably a average kicker because he didnt reraise preflop. i guess he could be sitting on 2 clubs here. but since im crazy and now after typing all this out it seems like a bad play in my mind but i bet the rest of his stack which was about 7,600.

Now heres my question and it may sound stupid lol. Do you think it makes a difference if you're about to bluff someone all in (when you clearly have more chips then them) If you bet there exact stack number or 7,600 in this case, or if just go all in.
like as the opponent do you think that makes a difference at all, as in oh no he bet 7,600 which is exactly what i have thats a bluff!
or he went all in thats a cover up for his bad cards!
or am i just completly stupid for thinking that this may play an effect on someone making a call down.
And i yelled to the cabby YO HOLMES SMELL YA LATER

I have heard people discuss this before. Something about the psychology of betting everything they have +/-1 chip or the exact amount to the cent, but mainly in cash games. I don't think it would apply as much in tourn and would depend too much on your opponets pysche to be able to answer that. But I am very interested in other people thought on this. I also imagine there is a huge difference between what stakes you are at. What works on the $3 tourn players prob won't work as well against say $30 tourn players.

It's not stupid... from my experience, shoving often looks like and is a bluff. The "what you have left" bet, usually translates to "I'll take those chips off your hands" IMO. Obiously it's never 100% either way, but from what I've seen, it's usually the case.

In low stakes though, regardless of your bet, you'll get called by any A alot of the time.

i think unless they had clubs they are or should fold. if they were wrong about your hand and think you were just stealing they still need ak or two pair to beat your bluff.

In the batter's box. Already 0-1 count....
I would have bet the flop and not the turn inorder to see where I was. I can't make a move on the river. I have to check and see what he does. My thought is that he made the call once, he is ahead.

it may effect someone but you can't know which way so I would not worry about it.

I don't think he ever folds an ace here but I am cool with check calling
