Stack off this early?

    Default Stack off this early?

    Two questions here really.

    1) How do you play this hand? Donk min-check raises me on the flop. I'm putting him on a draw immediately at this point but am a little worried about KT but I think he'd raise more to chase away the 2 potential draws. So the question is here, with position do I just call and see what the turn brings and how he reacts or do I go with my read and make him pay for his draw?

    Poker Stars, $10 + $1 NL Hold'em Tournament, 15/30 Blinds, 8 Players

    MP2: 1,270
    CO: 1,450
    BTN: 1,700
    SB: 1,330
    BB: 3,420
    Hero (UTG): 1,390
    UTG+1: 1,470
    MP1: 1,470

    Pre-Flop: (45) K A dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to 120, 5 folds, SB calls 105, BB folds

    Flop: (270) 4 T K (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets 200, SB raises to 400, Hero raises to 1,270 and is All-In, SB calls 810 and is All-In

    Turn: (2,690) 5 (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

    River: (2,690) 5 (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results in white below: 2,690 Pot
SB showed 7 clubs 9 clubs: (a flush, King high) and WON 2,690 (+1,360 NET)
Hero showed K diamonds A spades (two pair, Kings and Fives) and LOST (-1,330 NET)

    2) If you take out the two draws ( clubs and straight draws ), do you play the hand the same way?

Just trying to see if there was a better way to play that hand instead of stacking off. After reviewing the hand I think if I was OOP and I got raised on my CBet I should push but a check-raise from an OOP perhaps I should have just called and see what the turn brought. I don't see myself really getting away from this hand though.

    Suggestions?

Ok, I'm no pro but here goes...

You went 4xBB with AK, he called, applying the gap concept I put him on a pretty good hand there. Of course, that is assuming he isn't totally nuts.

He checks the flop, which would indicate it missed him, you have top pair, you bet about 75% of pot, I might have gone full pot, but ok... he then min raises that bet... That really puts me on notice... but I'm a conservative player. I think there I call and see the turn before moving on... rather than shove.

His line looks like a set, KQ/AK or big draw but I usually would stack off here.
Edit:I basically said ATC here lol. But I still think it makes sense.

Might be a leak of mine but I think your ahead quite bit.

With no reads at $10 sng I usually assume they are not very good and I think you have fold equity here. He could be getting cute and cib 3 bet bluffing thinking you can lay down a missed flop or JJ/QQ.

Theres too many hands you beat to not stack off on this board. You played this perfectly.

edit: On a dry board I would be more willing to flat call the minraise since you are either way ahead against lower kings or way behind against sets. Just calling also allows a potential bluff to keep firing on the turn.

I agree with fjuanl, nh. TPTK is very often the best hand in spots like this, particularly when the board comes drawy, I'd expect you to be ahead of his range most of the time.
