    Default Two more hands

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00+$0.20 Tournament, 25/50 Blinds (7 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Button (t3390)
    SB (t1365)
    BB (t1690)
    Hero (UTG) (t1515)
    MP1 (t670)
    MP2 (t1280)
    CO (t1435)

    Hero's M: 20.20

Preflop: Hero is UTG with ,
    BB calls t50, Hero raises to t200, MP1 raises to t670 (All-In), MP2 calls t670, 5 folds, Hero raises to t1515 (All-In), MP2 calls t610 (All-In)

I'm pretty sure this is standard, I could be behind MP1, but call his all in even if nobody flats. With MP2 flatting I have to push, right?

    Button (t5040)
    Hero (SB) (t3365)

    Hero's M: 22.43

1 fold, Button raises to t200, Hero calls t150, BB calls t100

    Flop: (t600) , , (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Button bets t600, Hero calls t600, 1 fold

    Turn: (t1800) (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets t1800, Hero raises to t2565 (All-In), Button calls t765

    River: (t6930) (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Total pot: t6930

This guy is bad, and on God mode (been getting a lot of these players in my S&G's lately). Anyways, my line here was to get as many chips as possible. The bad thing, no matter how I play this hand, I lose. I'm sure I could have raised all in on the flop and he would have called, could have gone all in pre, and he would have called. Can you guess what he had? But I'm not really worried about that, what I want to know, is if this line is good if he doesn't have me beat. If I am up against AQ, KQ, QJ is my line a reasonable line to get as many chips as I can, or do I raise pre, raise flop.

IMO if your read is that he is a poor player than I think this is standard.

Hand 1 is totally standard, nh. It's a cold day in hell that I'm folding QQ at a $1.20 SNG, you're way way ahead of everybody's ranges.

Hand 2 - with your read I would re-pop to 600 preflop since he's going to call anyway. As played, with the flush draw on the flop you should bet your set since you don't want to give a free card here. If he's going to call with whatever he has, why not bet to increase the size of the pot? The only hand that I'd really check/call against a player this bad is a flopped FH or quads.

    Hand 1 fine.

Hand 2 checking to raiser is fine as they'll probably cbet and you'll fold too many hands that will cbet (such as FD!!!) by betting here. Turn is fine as I think donking would be weird after the c/c on turn. You go his stack in and probably when ahead, so wp/gg.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

assuming 'bad God mode' player is aggressive rather than passive you played it fine after the flop, not raising pre is bad regardless of read and probably a result of the fact that you're worried about things like how many god mode players you have at your table.

You sound like you need a break and maybe to read the poker mindset. A good warning sign is whenever you say things like this:

no matter how I play this hand, I lose.

Can you guess what he had? But I'm not really worried about that,
when people play bad, you win*. The reason poker is better than chess is sometimes they get positively reinforced when they play bad. If you cannot get your head around that, poker is not your game.

Generally I am quite happy to be at a table full of bad players and I have no problem playing against them. Hand 2 was actually a cooler, opp had KK, and that is why I said no matter how I played I lose. If opp would have had 10 J, then it would have been my own fault, what I am looking for is if my line is good to get a many chips as I can if opp doesn't have KK.
