Default What's more frustrating? (For the all-around Hold'em player)

This is a poll of sorts. What's more frustrating in poker?

    1. Running bad multi-tabling a cash game session.
    2. Bubbling out of several consecutive sit-n-gos
    3. Busting out of a rebuy/MTT deep into it.

I consider myself a cash game player but because of a horrible downswing of late I've tried to mix things up for the past week (and get my mind off my bad run) multi-tabling stars 60$ turbos. Bubbling out of those gave me the same sinking feeling as getting rivered in cash games. Then the past few days I've played several MTTs and rebuys and going deep in those only to bust before payout may be even more frustrating because of the massive time investment involved and the fact that you have nothing to show for it.

I imagine the key is mixing in a couple cash tables along with your rebuys/MTT right? For some reason when I'm deep in MTT/rebuys i focus all my energy on them and just end up being terribly disappointed when it's all wasted when a donk sucks away my chips with q9 off.

Basically I'm wondering what a lot of the vets strategies are in regards to mixing up their games. Do you notice a negative impact on your cash games skills if you're playing a MTT or sit n gos at the same time? 1 tabling a rebuy just seems so damn lame.

Note : Hope this post doesn't come off as a whine about downswings, I'm well capable of handling them, but I'm looking for ways to keep poker fun and mix things up.
    Family Cruise IMO

for me the most frustrating by far is busting deep in an MTT and by deep i mean like final 2 or 3 tables

bubbling sngs/losing itm time and time again sucks hardcore..especially when ur 4-6 tabling them and its over a 5 or 10 session span

but also finishing final 2 or 3 tables of a mtt sucks, especially when you get called by a hand that had no business being in a pot and then wins a race or whatever..but finishing 13th in a big mtt would have to be worse, because you know if you win a flip or two you are one of the chip leaders on the FT given a chance to win thousands more than what you won for the 3 or 4 or 5 hours of time you spent playing. then again if you can stay positive through it your time will come, i've made 10k in june/july, finally gettin that luck in the late stages, so that makes things a little better haha

For me it would definately be going deep into a big MTT and busting out (especially on a bad beat/suckout/loosing when dominating the opp.).

for me, and i assume a good proportion of players, it would definately be getting knocked out late in a MTT. with ring games, the cash flow is much more steady. Humans are addicted to instant gratification by nature, so it becomes very hard to keep a level head after thinking hard for 3 hours just to have some clown with a joke of a hand knock you out. I know for me, when that happens, many times I think, "Why on earth do I play this fing game?" But then, sooner or later, you'll catch a brake. That's just the nature of MTTs. You will not place most of the time. I'm a firm believer that it's the efforts you make trying to play solid poker that eventually leads you to profit from all of the fish out there. You just need to keep your head straight, and have a little faith. And last but not least, its much easier to do this if your playing within your bankroll.
