why am i suspicious of lilrascal every game.. i think the word 'rascal' is like a subtle hint to my subconscious that he is rascally. Gator could be extra feared for the same reason

Actually, my screen name is based on the name of my first dog "rascal". Also, I watched the "Little Rascals" when I was little.

it will make for a more pure discussion if we dont mention our partners yet. if we out them now, people will probably develop some biases. i say we logically approach that later (on day 1)

I've been trying to think of the best way to approach this game and I don't have a good strategy yet, but I agree with this approach for now and since we can only afford 1 mislynch we need everybody to post so we can make some reads.

Do I get modkilled for trying to lynch the mod?

Also, 85% sure Gabe is a wolf. His first post was absolute fluff. Almost a forced post.

why is aubrey only villager not capitalized in the player list. Mod probably makes sure that wolves don't stand out in such an obvious way so does lack of care imply that she is a villager.

to be clear i wasnt trying to convince anyone else about rascal or gator i was just posting a thought i had. i read lilrascal's "First" and my inclination was that it was wolfy, then i tried to analyze why i thought that, and thats what i came up with

FWIW, I start EVERY turbo game that way (and I am first a large majority of the time) and in long games when I can actually post first, then I start that way as well.

If that's what prompted your comment, then why did you mention gator in that post?

no one else has a screen name that has natural connotations. for example, my screen name is just my name. JKDS is just a bunch of letters. "rascal" and "gator" have meaning.

Actually, we can afford one mislynch and still win. But I hope you're right that it is a one lynch game because that would mean we got the wolves on D1 for the win.

Why not? I could see the wolves buss once as it doesn't matter if one of them links to the others by viewing the buss riders. Once we find the first one the game is over.

Yeah, I realized I was confusing bussing with jumping on a train. My bad.

I like the idea of waiting to reveal our partners until later. This stops the wolves using pairings to their advantage.

I think the reason we should not out our buddies is because when people realise they are reading a couple as wolf/villa, they have to reassess one way or the other, and the sincerity of that reassessment can help us to read people.

after thinking about it, its very hard for boog to be a wolf. we saw his wolf game last game and he would not stick his neck out like this as a wolf. him and his partner are safe today from my vote. i just cant see any universe where he, as a wolf, would directly attack me in such a way in the first few posts. obv hes completely wrong but i understand his intention

I agree gabe isn't the lynch. He might be a wolf, but we don't need to lynch him to win even if he is.

i'm trying to process how this game structure affects motivations, strategies, etc., it's new to me

i'm reluctant to admit that i have no idea what the evidence is for monkey being partners with drew what did i miss??

I just really don't see the village motivation for doing that. It's needless. More to the point, villagers should be thinking at this stage that we're best off hidden. It's sloppy for a villager that is. Really sloppy. It's needless for a wolf, too, but a wolf isn't thinking like a villager who is trying to protect what little info he has that they don't.
