    Default level 1 thinking

I see now that this should go in Tales of Poker but I couldn't delete it, sorry.

No disrespect to this guy, I'm sure he's new to poker, but wow. He really had me worried on the turn, but there's no way I can stop betting. When he turned his hand over, I actually felt a little sorry for him. At least it's only 10NL.

that's true . sometimes i do stupid things. like today, i thought this guy was squeezing light. i had no reason to think that but i just assumed it. so i flatted his 3-bet and check/shoved a KKx flop. he had quads. he actually took a second to call too, like it's a decision or something. you're welcome, sir.

I uhh.. well.. you see what had happened was... umm...

I don't hate the bet sizing, villains betsize was wtfworthy, but who several poker texts wouldn't consider it out of line. (PNLHE) It seems reasonable, gets all the monees in when hero was confident he had the best of it. The only thing that seems even sort of LOL worthy was the 3bet that was a little big. 1.5x the original raise seems fair.

But Villain called anyway, and if you are relatively sure villan will call AI in this spot with enough worse hands, AI is a perfectly acceptable move. The pot was so big in relation to the stack, that top pair top kicker or top pair 2nd kicker is worth getting all in anyway.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

PF isn't actually really bad, but flop is like ginormous in respect to stack sizes. theres like no draws on the flop or cards we're really afraid of. a 2 or 5 might somehow hurt our action(?) but thats about it. just because we're cbetting doesnt mean it needs to be around 2/3 pot LOL. obv shove turn

seems fine to just set up stacks for 2 streets given the spr.

I could pick 8000 random hands from my database and post them all on this forum and it'd be exactly the same only x8000.
