Poker Homes Games

Hi I am new to this site this is my first post and this seems like the closet thread to a general poker forum. I was wondering about homes games I throw at my house I usually have about anywhere from 12-17 people weekly. We play using chips as a value of one, i know people hate this, I hated it to, but I have gotten use to it. Every player gets 80 chips and we raise the blinds every 20 minutes. I was wondering if at certain point I should double the blinds to slighty speed up the game. I know you can speed it up by decreasing the blind times, but I think 20 is comfortable. The thing is we do buy-ins the first hour to increase the pot we play 30 dollars a person. I hate buy-ins, but I don't mind increasing the pots at all. I was wondering how I should do the blinds basically 1/2 2/4 skip 3/6 and go straight to 4/8? then 5/10 6/12 then double it to 8/16/ then 10/20? If any help or tips thanks!! appreciate it.

we usually start with 5k, and blinds go like this every 10 mins
