Rumor: Isildur has signed with a major poker site

I just wrote about this in my FTR blog but this has exciting implications! Maybe we will see another epic Isildur/durrrr 6-tabling absurdly high stakes battle soon. I've been a pretty big Isildur fanboy, so I'm pretty excited about the possibility. Any other Isildur fans out excited about this?

Would it be as exciting if it were proven that he really is Viktor Blom?

That's my major concern. I think Isildur becomes less newsworthy if he comes out and says he's Blom. He might keep most of his appeal, though, if sponsorship allows him to start playing million dollar pots again.

I think a lot of the appeal comes from how degen he seems to be. Like he seems to run up a huge deal of money then basically keep playing till he busts, rinse and repeat.

The dude multitabled durrrr, Ivey and PA heads up at 500/1000...AT THE SAME TIME. Hard not to be a fan of that. Here's to hoping for another epic run, regardless if he outs himself or not.

On the other hand maybe they will make it part of the deal that he has to keep himself anonymous like The Stig.
Either way, you are right that with that kind of money flying around there is bound to be a lot of interest. Gives people something to dream about.
