With no results it's hard to see why, but I'm assuming that he runner-runner-ed you for the flush, probably with some stupid shit.

I don't know man, this doesn't sound THAT bad. What were your stats going into the hand? Maybe he read you as weak when you bet the flop and included KQ, KJ, KT, QJ, QT, JT, T9, any pair, or a weak/foldable ace. Maybe he thought he could push you off of it.

I'm not saying he made a good play, I'm not saying you could have avoided going broke. But obviously he had some reason to believe that you were weak and would fold.

it was the first hand i had seen a flop. was playing super tight. if he had stats on me, he would have seen that i was a real tight player. so when bet 250 on a 50bb on a flop like that, he should atleast assume i have something considering how tight i was playing. thats why i believe he had no stats on me. but i could be wrong.
