It's usually what I do hoping to get a bricked flush draw to bet. Either way I don't see how you can fold to his push.

So let's say raise to $3.50 pf, get same caller, flop pot is $7.75. Bet $6, get called. Turn pot is $19.75, and Hero has $52.70 behind. How do we commit on turn?

Edit: Okay that's not really what I meant to ask. I think here we should try to kill his implied odds on draws, and the best draw he has is 9 outs. The current pot + our remaining stack is about $72.50, and we need to give him worse than 4.1:1. If we just bet the pot, we give him a little worse than 3:1. First question, am I right in thinking this is sufficient? Second question, am I totally off base about how I'm trying to handle the hand?

It's all good, I went on monkey tilt a bit after this hand but chased my losses at 100nl and won, so yah it's all good.

I'm talking about implied odds, not immediate pot odds.

Edit: Bleh I'll explain cuz I doubt you got what I meant. If I give him bad implied odds for any draw on the turn, that means I can call down on the river whether he hits or not and it still be +EV (this is assuming he's on a draw). This way you don't have to worry about what to do if, for example, the flush draw completes on the river.

If you think he has u beat, then you can take more of a valuetown line like 1/2 pot turn and fold to a shove, then check/call river.
