yea most % time he isn`t bluffing here, though he does rep very little
need to have more info that he`s capable of turning like 77 or AJ here into a bluff
i almost wanna call turn with deeper stacks than with 100bb, since ppl might bluff more often idk
i am a beginner, so most of the times dumb when about poker, but why did you fold here? in my opinion he could have done that c/r with AK, AQ,99-JJ... isnt that possible? he could have 88 or 44, but there ar more combos you beat then the ones that beat you. i dont think he has AA or KK cause he didnt reraise preflop. i would have pushed all in here.
I witnessed this hand, and I advocated a fold even though we're obv getting exploited a ton. My reasoning was simply that people aren't gonna try to rep boats versus a strong range 240BB deep.
so the stack is the main reason for folding the hand? asking because i wanna improve and getting advice and understanding your logic is the way to get better

His sizing definitely isn't messing around. Think fold is good. We only really beat like A3ss, A5ss, 56ss.
So ridiculously easy to exploit imo.

It's not like they know you're folding an overpair. Just snap fold like you have air, if you don't want them thinking you're folding big.Quote:

It is easy to exploit - if you don't know they're exploiting you. If you think he is trying exploiting you here, then all you need to do is not fold this, and you are exploiting him.

if you are worried about expolitation by one particular player, who you`ll be playing a lot against in the future (you know it for sure), you can stack off here 1-3 times and see what happens, if he never shows up with a bluff (or never/not enough as we assume here in a vaacume). Plus it is good for future meta against him - he`ll be less inclined to bluff you in marginal spots knowing your stack off range is wide, which definitely is a good thing for wr

I think the best play there is to bet 1/3 of the pot on the turn. Betting 45 buck leaves you pot commited and then you should call to that reraise. If you bet 1/3 and the guy is just bluffin youre not going to get a minraise... hes gonna try kicking you out of the hand with a big bet and then you have your tell.
Your logic is flawed though. If you bet smaller, he's more likely to be induced into bluff raising you, than if you bet bigger, where he's less likely to bluff you.Quote:
