Default Re-raising with TPTK on the flop

Recently, just to mix up the extreme grind of forcing myself to play a different style than I prefer (for comparison sakes) I started re-raising in position on the flop with TPTK (AK as it happened to be) - I did it 6 times, and 6 times I got a fold.

So I got to thinking about the EV of this particular action:

Pro: By mixing it up like this, and doing it somewhat consistantly, your sets are far more likely to get paid off.

Con: You make TPGK fold out, losing the value on later streets when villain would have been dominated.

Pro: You REALLY punish people chasing 4-flushes, OESD, and the like. No pot building for joo.

Con: Ok, so they call the re-raise, check the turn, and call your bet. River completes no draw you can see, but they bet (or more likely given stacks here push). What's the easy answer for this?

Pro: By being so over-aggro, people may check to you more often giving you more free cards.

Con: You're bloating the pot with 1 pair.

Obviously mega-coordinated flops (KQJ, 3 flushed, etc.) this isn't really a consistantly viable option with, but is it a consistantly viable option ot begin with? If it is, what's a good mix for this? 80% call 20% re-raise? 75/25? 50/50?? Should it completely depend on the opponent -- always do it with some players and never with others? Or am I just occasionally spewing off chips and getting lucky nobody is coming back over top?

im a bit confused by your terminology.

how do you a 3bet a donk bet in position?

i think you can raise a donk bet. or 3-bet a check raise.

I've had a lot of NyQuil and Benadryl in the last 2 days. It's not hard to concentrate but I have problems putting what's in my head down in a readable format, and I misspoke (mistyped?). I edited the post.

yeah reraising donk bets is usually somoene with mid pair or tpnk putting a feeler bet out there. of course if they 3 bet the flop then u are in trouble, or a call + significant turn donk then u better watch out.
