Lead me through your thought process for calling pre.

Also how d'u c/c those last two streets? I run lines like that all the time and get screeeewwwwwed. I'd definitely feel more comfortable b/f'ing turn, but I guess if you've got a read of maniac it might work.

With 4 seeing the flop the odds of queens being no goot are fairly high, no?

I'm assuming you called because the blinds were squeezing light. As played I think you have to fold the turn, I don't see you being good here too often without reads of button being a complete maniac. KQ, KJ, and 55 all go for 3 streets of value here. TQ is also in his range.
Flopping quads and boats like its my job

Yeah, that river hit some of his range.

Well I think his turn bet size stinks to high heaven of being a bluff, but you really need to tell us something about the button when you post a hand like this. I mean he's obviously terrible just from his stack size but I'd like to know what types of hands he can be calling the flop with, that need to bluff the turn. If there are lots of them then this is OK.

Opener is a 2+2er that usually plays bigger. Was probably playing a little more ABC than usual to get in volume, but still dangerous.
BN was loose (44/15), terrible, stubborn and floaty.

Just such a f'd up hand, had to post it...

heres the problem imo ... if the button is bad enough to call here with the intention of floating a bet into 3 other players, hes definitely bad enough to flat there with a set of 5s, or two pair KJ. theres pretty much no way to tell the difference, i think its just more of a timing/feel decision as to which it is. did he think for a good amount of time before flatting the flop? then probably a bigger hand, if he didnt think much then i think its more likely something weaker. it also makes sense that he woudl slowplay a big hand there in hopes to get another player to tag along .

Why aren't more people talking about preflop? I mean don't get me wrong I'm not one of those 'OMG QQ have to RR' guys but I think if you're gonna do this than there has to be some rhyme or reason to it. There's half stacks behind who in my experience are not mental squeezers and there's a high likelihood that we end up 4 ways to the flop, because they are fish, which isn't a great result imo.

On the flop as played I think there's a good chance someone has a K so I don't really see why we're betting? I don't think the benefits of protecting from the turn card, even 4 ways, and the value we get from a J or whatever are greater than what we lose when we bet into a field where someone has a king.

i guess we all just assume Fnord has reasons so we don't even acknowledge it.

flattin ur 4bets, makin u tilt
why would u call on the river
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

    Because he had ATo?

Meh. Tilt induced hand of real genius and optimistic read gone right.

If the river was any other card I'd like it a lot more. Even though we have two Q's, I still feel like QT is gonna be a hand that shows up very often here (behind Kx or KJ) so I'd probably fold this river especially.

Other rivers its prob a bit closer.
