Default OOP weak flush vs Laggy

Both fish just sat out. Lagg OTB is 28/20 1.6K hands but mostly datamined. But most aggression is early streets. I think my turn bet may have needed to threaten a little more to stack off the river and then either C/F or bet a little smaller river bet. Would a turn and river C/C be bad here?

Don't lead flop c/r or c/c instead. In this spot I think c/r is better. As played bet turn and I guess you have to fold river.

yeah fold, i guess you are supposed to put him on a slowplayed set or k8, sigh.

this seems like one of those spots where you are supposed to call because his line doesn't make sense, but I just don't think 100nl players are gonna run many bluffs here, and all you beat is bluffs.

I think he still probably shoves the nut flush on the river

How does this answer my questions? Your uncanny ability to overstate the obvious is a honed craft.

my thoughts, really don't get leading on this texture

His line really doesn't make much sense at all, but the problem is that he probably thinks you have a flush a TON of the time given the line you took.

So I feel like b/f is probably best, just given what he perceives your hand to be.

I'd probably c/c this flop most of the time. c/c here keeps your range the widest, and most of your hands would c/c here. c/r reps almost nothing on this board, and if he's good he should probably float you here or 3bet you if you c/r this board, since you rep mostly two made hands here.

I'd c/r here vs predictable players, but prob not vs aggro's.

yeah 3bet preflop here is my standard, and I think calling is pretty marginal in general.

I was actually planning on calling the flop raise when I lead. I figured him to only call the bet with decent hand. Once the turn hits I figure he'll call more than he would bet his K so I went for value expecting to again call a raise. The river is obv fold since I beat very little that shoves since I look exactly like a strong K or flush. Checking does set this hand up different I think, particularly since I do check a ton of hands on this flop to not get raised when I don't have the FD. I don't mind the C/R at all vs guys that would bet this almost always and get it in with worse FD's and weaker than TPTK.

I think this is a reasonable way of playing this hand. There are of course arguments for folding preflop, 3-betting preflop, check-calling flop, check-raising flop, but I wouldn't be surprised if all the plays were fairly close with this hand. I would personally probably check-call the flop and try to hit my hand or bluff the river if the turn checked through.
