My g/f wants us to get a dog. Trouble is, she seems to be getting her heart set on a miniature pinscher and I really can't excited about getting a dog like that. I'm thinking more along the lines of some kind of terrier (yes, I know, "pinscher" is German for terrier, but you know what I mean). I want something big enough to wrestle with but not too big, smart and tough as nails. It might mean less short-term pain to bend to her wishes now, but we're talking 15 years or so of putting up with the little rat, so if I cave I'm done for.
