operation: get back to 400nl

as most of you know, i recently had my bank roll stolen, and i was just starting to play 400nl, and getting very excited about poker. well this is my operation to get back there. i got about 3k in fpp bonus', plus i am getting a 3k loan, so that will start me off with a decently comfortable 200nl roll. with some luck, i should get back to paying off my debt and being rolled for 400nl by mid june (just a rough guess).

No rush though, don't try and get it all at once. I have been at a down point before and the biggest mistake most of us make when at lower limits is push to get back in a hurry.

Good luck will, as Jyms says though don't rush. You don't want to play on perma-tilt because of a lack of patience. I'm sure you have the right mental approach though so I'll just watch you get on with it

i asked this in the Tools of Poker thread, but i figure it will get faster results here.

should i just use pt3 beta for free until pt3 comes out in 2 months or whatever?

or if someone wants to be the man and ask PT for another registration code who only has it one computer, so i can use the other, that would be f'in sweet.

I would go with PT3 beta. I picked up the beta 1-1.5 months ago and it's worked pretty flawlessly. There were some rare crash bugs, but they seem to be pretty much resolved. Latest PT3 beta has a built in HUD also, which isn't so hard to configure. It comes up after just one hand and there's a PokerTracker button top center of the window which you click to configure. I'll be buying PT3 when it's released and until then I'll just be using the beta.
