Default top 2 AK can anyone find a river fold

this is the worse call of the year i feel like, and this is the worst session ive had in years....
This is at the end of a 8 buyin downswing couldnt win ah and to save my life... i was actually trying to REDUCE losing to AA or KK, then i figured i had to call him down, wasnt getting a call if i push for worse, then thought about folding the river ....

I know i shoulda 4betpreflop, i know i shoulda raised the turn(maybe) as played does anyone fidn a fold?

    any range for the opp?

you had top 2 pairs on turn and havent reraised turn with 2 flush draws and one straight draw?!?! i would have shoved turn make him pay for chasing....if he got a set, damn, thats poker, but i for sure have never played like that.

my opinion, its your own fault here... not pre flop for not 4bet, flatting its ok here, but your passive line on flop having TPTK and then turn with a monster like that 2 top pairs where you had blockers for AA and KK and you kept calling passive gave him every right to win this hand.

Preflop is fine; it would be nice if you had reads though. River is a tough spot but a fold against most...

I think he played it fine up to the river.

ok, but why not reraising top 2 pairs? i cant see the reason for that, if he planned to call river also, why not to be the one who leads? you can take the pot on turn with a reraise , if he still chases thats poker, but you have chance to take it and he is not bluffing, holds a good hand. just calling give the opp oportunity to hit his draw. i mean this kind of play is against everything i read and learned here....

maybe at that stakes is like that, but please explain the logic and reason of calling turn instead of raising.

The reason for not raising turn is because if villain continues, we are chopping or drawing to 2 outs at most.

i love it when every time people dont 4B pre, with hands like AK/JJ/QQ (which would be bad here with deep stacks and these positions w/o reads), they start each topic with "i know i shouldve 4B pre, thats probably a mistake", even though they will never in million years wouldve 4B even if they got second chance for same hand. Just funny point/tendencie i see in forums a ton

vs overbet on the river with deep stacks its tough. i Think both calling and folding are close, depending on different stuff

good post shotglass, i had never really thought of that aspect of the hand.

As played i think deanglow summed it up, also do not post results it skews peoples advice, also make a note that he's 3betting you light oop when you are not likely to be stealing (you are in mp2)
