    Default Your move???

    NL $25 (0.25/0.50)
The table is medium tight with an average 3-4 players in each game...

    You have a late position

    Dealt to you: [6s 7s]

    Pre-flop:
3 guys limps in before you
    You: Limp in $0.5
BB checks (Making you 5 players in this game, you have the last position)

    Pot now: $2.75

Flop: [ 8s, As, Ts] (you have the flush, and gut shot for SF)

    BB: checks
    3 limpers: checks
    You: bets $3
    BB: calls $3
1 limper call $3, the rest of them fold.

Pot now: $11.75 (3 players in the pot)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Your readings:
BB - A good tight player, large stack around $60, pretty aggressive.
The limper: Hard read on this player. Not very aggressive. Seems like a pretty average guy. $29 stack.
Your self: $21, not working so well today. You belive they think of you as a tight and pretty aggressive player.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Turn:
    Pot now: $11.75
    [ 8s, As, Ts] [Ad]

    BB: Bets $3
    Limper: Calls $3
    You: Raises to $6
    BB: Call $3
    Limper: Call $3

    River:
    Pot now: $29.75
    [ 8s, As, Ts, Ad] [2d]

Bet as much as humanly possible to get both of them to call.

First off, you should have raised the flop. You dont want to give that K of spades odds to draw to that nut flush. If you can take the pot down on the flop, do it. The turn card was good for you, because now that guy holding an A is going to the river.

    ALLIN!!!!!!!!!!

At least, thats what I would do in LHE....

    himself fucker.
You misplayed it on the turn. Raise more. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 bucks.

Two reasons, you want to fold out high spades and you want to get trip aces deep into a big pot where calling your river allin is but a formality.

If i'm in late position with suited connectors I like to raise rather than limp. That way it's harder for them to put you on your hand. They see raise they think big cards. That would also give the guy holding an A more incentive to bet at you thinking you have hhigh cards that missed.

This happened when I was playing by myself against myself...
You know... Dealing 10 hands and do the thinking for each player in a realistic way.

So the hands are for real, but it didn't happend in real life.
I will tell you the actual hands later...

I think I would just check here. You have the flush, but your two hole cards are pretty low. Got to figure that anyone else holding two spades is going to beat you.

It got checked around to you, and the pot is a good sized one. If you bet and someone comes over the top, you would have to think you might be beat and could consider folding. Or you have put more money into a pot that you can't win.

So I would say just check and hope your flush holds up. If it does, you take down a good sized pot. If it doesn't, you are glad that you didn't put more into the pot. Betting another 10 or 20 of your stack and hoping for a caller doesn't seem like a good play to me here.

Maybe this is just because you play mostly 6 max but with the board paired like that hands like A8 A2 and A10 are very possible for full boats as well as pocker pairs that they limped with and tripped up...with the 2 3 dollar calls on the flop I would say one has the high spade draw while maybe the other has at the very least the Ace and maybe even stupid enough to try and slow play 2 pair or a set here. I would just be very cautious once the board paired.

In this thread I added you ideas--->http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...pic.php?t=6816

BB is holding: [Ks, 4s] Flush, Ace high, King kicker.
You are holding: [6s, 7s] Flush, Ace high, Ten kicker.
    Limper was holding: [Th, 8h]

BB was slowplaying his King high flush... Very tough to see through...
He tries a check-raise on the river...

Limper did a doubtful call in the previous example hoping to catch the full-house. He will fold to a higher raise...

    Conclutions:
Raising Pre-flop in the previous example (as one of you suggested) would have made BB to fold his K4s. But is that a longterm win-strategy??? Against small suited connectors you want a lot of players, and large stacks, in the pot, right?!

Checking on the river in the previous example (as another guy suggested) would have been the next best idea. But once again... Is that a good read or a luckey guess? What's best in real life?

Or maybe... WAS THIS JUST A BAD BEAT and raising is still the best option on the river....
