It was fairly obvious by that point I'd been slow-playing, so I didn't think he would call much. Especially since the river ace made the likeliest hand K-K (he probably had kings or aces, and the river ace meant there were more unseen kings than aces), and it's difficult to call a check-raise on the river with K-K with an ace on board.
Some players might interpret a check-raise on the river after calling flop and turn bets with 3 to a flush on the board and as a missed flush, but I doubt it, especially not this guy.
