No, Drawing dead is, say, you are drawing to a flush but your opponent has a made FH....thats drawing dead.

He had a made hand and was not drawing, the opponent was drawing to a flush as well as a FH to beat him

He was ahead when the chips went into the pot and got outdrawn......

I'd call;if he has the flush I'd think he'd be more inclined to smooth call and value bet/raise the river.Pushing the turn smells more like a semi-bluff on his part(since he has two-pair with outs).You have a straight(granted with the flush draw) so it's a tough call/fold either way.

Say you fold and find out he only had two-pair.You kick yourself for feeling too scared to call.You call(which you did) finding out you're ahead and he needs to his his 2% hand and bam he hits his miracle card on the river.

I would've done the same as you;so in these cases you just have to pay him off.

I'd fold. Even though in this particular instance, the guy was drawing, more often than not, the other guy will already have a flush at this point. Lay it down. Don't forget about reverse implied odds just 'cause you have a straight.

you wouldnt call AI against a flush draw?? with trips or straight? he only hits 1/5 times from the turn. thats where you make alot of money.

I wouldve been drawing dead if he had the flush, but he didnt i was in a pretty strong position.


Stack/pot size: I called a $7.50 stack into $1.50 i think.. i just couldnt put him on a flush.. even a low one, because one card to come.. he'd be a big enough fav to play slowly, he'd want me in the hand. Well, if i had a low flush there i wouldnt mind the other guy chasing the nut flush.
